Geoffrey A. Haveman

 

Since graduation from Grand Valley State University and the University of Michigan Law School, Geoffrey has been practicing law in western Michigan now -- and previously in the Detroit metro area as a solo attorney and as part of a firm -- since 2005. In that time he has consulted thousands of clients and participated in many bankruptcy cases, he also actively helps numerous small businesses and individuals achieve their business and estate planning goals.

 

In addition, Geoff volunteers at the Dispute Resolution Center of West Michigan, the Mediation Center of Holland and serves as a Court appointed mediator. He has also volunteered with Freedom House Detroit practicing immigration and asylum law and sits on the board of the Zeeland Historical Society. He enjoys teaching test preparation classes and tutors students for standardized tests.

 

Geoff grew up on a dairy farm in western Michigan -- in his free time he enjoys reading, helping students with standardized test preparation, ice skating, bicycling around, reading, projects with his son, and spending time with his beautiful wife and four small children.
